Lenovo y510p desktop bootloop

I tued on my computer today and got to the account sign in page on windows 10 like normal, but once I enter my password the screen goes black and every 10-30 seconds parts of the taskbar will flash on and off the screen. I’ve tried restarting my computer several times with no result. I need to use my laptop for school work desperately so anything will help. Please let me know what I can do to fix this (without resetting my laptop).
