IdeaPad keyboard sudden issues

Hey All

I am going insane here!

Ive had my laptop about 2 1/2 years and out of the blue it has a keyboard issue.

weirdly its only a couple of keys and only when pressed at the same time - ie: trying to capitalize the "c" with the right shift key. It will work on every other key.... and the left arrow will not work when another key is pressed as in trying to press forwards and left at the same time, but it will work when pressed on its own. 

The other issue thats has appeared at the exact same time is everything started closing. I had my browser open, skype, and discord - very normal for me while I am working, One by one they closed. I reopened them and it continued to do this, even bringing a pop-up up to close Windows? not my normal laptop power off window.

I have updated all my drivers and it seems to have slowed down how often it is closing apps and browsers but at the same time I have not been typing as much due to the issue, so can't determine if it is a particular key.

I have plugged in an external keyboard to type this, so as to try and avoid causing it to close things down again. I can't find any way to disable the keyboard either. 

I am now at a loss!!

Any ideas would be grately appreciated.
