T410 won't boot. Lights flash every couple of secs

T410 won't boot up.  Lights flash after I press power button and continue to flash every couple of seconds.  This stops if I press the power button and hold.  Any suggestions?  Have tried removing/reinstalling battery.  Is it a goner?
